Sequencing Pedals

I am about to arrange my pedalboard and am curious if the order of how I connect them matters? Here is what I am working with:

Line 6 G50 Wireless Unit
Menatone J.A.C Compressor Pedal
BBE Sonic Stomp Pedal
Sansamp Bass Driver Pedal
T-Rex Yellow Drive Pedal
Electro-Harmonix Small Clone Chorus Pedal
Boss Flanger BF-2(Fromel Modded) pedal
Danelectro DD-1 Fab Tone Distortion Pedal

It absolutely matters, but the order you place them will depend on what you want to achieve. Every pedal effects the ones that come after it, and that can lead to some awful sounds. Experiment.

Commonly you'd have wireless first, compressor second and Sansamp last. The rest according to taste, inbetween compressor and Sansamp.

But there's no single right way to do it, move things around and trust your own ears. If it sounds right to you, then it is right.

I'd go with:

G50 -> compressor -> all of that distortion, in whatever order you like unless you're using multiple at the same time -> chorus -> flange -> sonic stomp -> Bass Driver (if using as a DI) -> amp.

Generally you want the modulations last.
