Do you play any double bass? Maybe a nice EUB, or better yet a good old fashioned accoustic upright... even if you didn't end up playing it too much, it would look cool and classy in your living room.

Do you already have stage lighting? Your band will sound much better if you've got a few fog machines and some of those spinning mushroom dealies. Don't skimp on the lasers either.
I can feel the love. Yes, it's conceivable that my wife would buy me a bass for my birthday. That's pretty much how I got the other nine. My brother has the stage lighting. Bottom line, yeah, I'm probably close to being fully set up. Time to quit the bands and start a new hobby. I think it's gonna be professional go-kart racing. Or maybe I'll get into NASCAR or NHRA.
No GAS...I am so confused. I never knew such a thing could exist. 
Something will come your way and then you will get more GAS. Get fireworks and stuff for shows. Pyrotechnics are always cool.

Have you tried MTD basses? very light, excellent playability and sound great.
