Hey guys nd' gals i'm a newbie to the whole effects side of bass guitar so sorry if this is a stupid question!

I bought the following for christmas this is the order they are connected in my pedalbord.. Amp-->Crybaby--> Behringer Ultra-shifter/ Harmonizer--->Behringer bass Eq--->Digi-tech multi effects (bp50)--->bass

My problem is when I stand on the pedals the jacks get dislodged from the behringers cutting off my sound completely.
I tried blue tacking the jacks in place but that does not work.

This problem only happens with the behringers, not the wah or multi effects..

I have a gig in two days and I need these effects to fill sonic space during solos in the new three piece im in!!

And help is appretiated SOOO much!!!

P.s I thought of supergluing them in place is this a bad idea..my gut tells me it is! :help:

Not to get into any behringer hate or nothing, but the jacks fall out? or at least the plugs fall out of the jacks??? (im hoping im right in reading your prob as the latter :eyebrow:)

Thats got to be the funniest thing to see, well when you're not playing in front of people...

  3. If the jack falls out , it isn't connected properly. If it is there is something wrong with the pedals. If you can return them, do so..if not, open them up and bend the jack a bit so it holds better.

I guess that behringer tube overdrive is a bad idea

I mean the lead just kinda falls out of the pedal....It's really starting to get on my proverbial boobies!

    Huh. boobies are good.

have you thought about useing a rubber band (or bands) around the pedal and lead plugs?

    Or duct tape?

Hmm upon closer inspection it seems that the pedals have some sort of spring that actually ejects the lead....!?!?!??!?!

    Score:

    Behringer - 1
    peter6725 - 0

    :scowl: tis a sad day....

Anyways, try the rubber bands (use like 3 or 4, or even better, the thick flat ones) around the pedal. That should hold **** in :D

  11. Try swapping the cables around and see if any of them seat better than the others (not likely, but not unheard of). The next step is to save up for a used ps-3 and geb-7.

    Good luck.

It's like having the Valnott for bass, but for cheap ;)

  16. Some jacks will do that if you don't push the cable in far enough, depends on sleeve friction.

You answered your own question :bag:
    Try a Boss PH-3 and GEB-7 :bassist:

  18. I'm pretty sure I fixed it for you. PS-3 = Pitch shifter, PH-3 = phaser.

    (That's right, right?)
