Serious problem with behringer pedals

My behringer pedal seemed solid as a rock and i didnt have any of these problems.

you can try replacing the inputs....
I have nothing against behringer, but i would not use it in critical parts of my sound (amps,pedals...)
if you have a gig, dont risk it, just leave the pedals at home and try to find another way to achieve your sound

Behringer quality seems hit-or-miss. Strange. By the way I have a VW with 120k miles, no issues.

To be fair, I'm not certain how many Behringer pedals were actually engineered in Germany (except maybe reverse engineered). They're not even the least bit subtle about it.

I ran my Behringer pedal, a BDI21, over with a car and it still works, (true story!). On the other hand, I still have the carcass of an '83 Ibanez CS9 that stopped working over 20 years ago, (inferior grade of circuit board that shattered under normal use). Back then, Ibanez was the "cheap import" whipping boy.

A "Made in Japan" stamp wasn't always a sign of quality, you know. They were considered cheap copy-cat products...

i just like the fact that the OP states that he "stands on" the pedals.
you only need to tap the footswitch. if you have to stand on it to activate it, something's wrong already.
