Walmart has very good industrial strength velcro, it is usually near the sewing stuff.

If you were cutting your own cables, it'd be pretty easy, but since you're getting them made...
Get some tubing or light rope, or something comparably thick (maybe some other cable, like a computer cable of some sort). Route it through the rails as necessary and mark the start and end points on the cable. Pull it out and measure the length from start to finish. Then, overcompensate a bit (i.e., if it's exactly 18", you want something longer to be safe, because connectors change the results a bit).
