Seymour Duncan Antiquity raised A pole

Anyone had any experience with these?

Just got a mex P that had these installed, would swapping them for a flat pole set of antiquity's suit a 9.5" radius neck better?

And what kind of tonal differences are between these and Fender 62ri's?

I used to have a raised-A pickup in a P-bass (think it was a Fender Reissue). It sounded pretty good but that raised A deal was kind of a pain in the butt. I had to do a radical adjustment, lowering that side & raising the other side to a crazy degree to get something close to an even response between strings.

IMHO the only reason to ever get a raised-A pickup would be for cosmetic accuracy on a late '50s replica. If functionality is the greater concern, I advise to get the non-raised-A. IME a conventional split-coil P pickup can be easily adjusted to sense all 4 strings evenly.
