I aquired this bass a few years ago in Montana, it was in quite sad shape. It had no knobs, the wiring was trashed, only the bridge pickup worked and the fingerboard was black with filth. It's a 30" scale, mahogany neck and body, rosewood fingerboard. It appears that 2 volume and 2 tone controls with a 3 way switch were the original controls, and the bridge cover is missing.
The only thing I've found in the way of identification markings is a stamp in the neck pocket that is a red circle with some kind of Y in the center. Other than that,,,, zilch!
It has a great action, but that bridge makes it impossible to intonate correctly.
The neck pickup is rather lame sounding, but that bridge pickup is an awesomely obnoxious growling beast. 20151223_115441.jpg20151220_173137.jpg20151223_115428.jpg 20151223_115525.jpg20151223_115539.jpg
