Late to the party...
Bought the q-tuner in 2005 for an MTD Kingston. Got a SGD set in 2009. Put them in this bass in 2011 and have been content since. The super clean q-tuner and textured sgd go well together especially with an active blend control.
I might try a vintage style bridge and modern p for my p/j. Like this combo a lot.
