Double Bass Shen Owner's Club

I'm in, and sure, I'll take a number.

Shen SB-180 Hybrid strung with Evah Pirazzi Weichs. Here's one pic, I'll post some better ones later.

I've been raving about Shen's for years and now own my third, a SB-200, had bought and sold another Willow and an SB-150 in the past. I'm not much for joining clubs, but very happy to be behind a Shen. I'll find a photo for you guys after a while.

Sorry I've been gone everybody, my mother is currently going through chemotherapy treatments, and I've been with her in the hospital. Tomorrow I start summer music camp at University of Illinois, and will return with updates and numbers on Saturday. Until then, enjoy having somewhere to talk about our chinese babies =3

I have absolutely 0 playing experience, so this should be fun... :) Also grabbed a German bow of Gollihur (I think...) origins from Cincinnati Bass Cellar.

Congrats, Shens are great.

btw, pick your left arm up as if you are going to choke an imaginary person between you and the bass. With your arm that low angled in the photo you will get sore and fatigued.

Good tip. I really have never played an instrument like this before. I play BG and guitar, so this is a whole new animal. I've put away my bass for now so as to not develop terrible technique right away.
