And loaded with JJ's! Had to put my V4 into the shop 4 weeks ago for a service & repair. Thought I had blown a couple of the '88s; apparently it was a preamp component that was causing the weird noises; and they found the original valves to be fine! Odd. When the amp went down, it was like a lightening storm inside!
Anyway. She's back, better than ever. The JJ's ARE AWESOME! I also tried it thru one of the new Trace 2x10's instore- OH MY. So crisp, handled the diversity. Handled distortion superbly. I think a 4x10 maybe inmy sights... Inversly, I tihnk the Sting Ray may have played a roll in this... I have Bass GAS again! NOes!!!!
