So that my dream bass already out of pict, I'm after short scale basses right now as my wife allow me to buy a new bass. So, within my budget, there's two basses I'm interested. Sire U5 and Epiphone Rumblekat. Already use Sire since 2017, my main bass still 1st gen V7. Got a chance of playing Rumblekat few days ago. Love everything about it except one, the looks and feel about the fretboard. They say it's a rosewood, but from the color feel, I don't think so. If the U5 as good as my V7, I'm willing to buy it unseen. But tbh, I'm looking for different type of bass now, but not much information about the Rumblekat and from what I read, the U5 have a better value for money. So, anyone with experience with one or both can enlighten me?
