When did they start doing different colors? They told me a few years ago they were going to offer some colors other than sunburst but that's the only color still shown on their website.

...I'm starting to feel the "normal scale length" uncomfortable, (after 10 years of playing), and I would like to know if a short scale bass can be used for the job.
Stanley Clarke plays a (relatively) short scale bass, so he must be semi-pro.The idea that short scales are for beginners or not for professionals is fairly common.
I did not know this existed, and really want to try it.
Funny thing about that is 99% of people in real life, including musicians, won’t know the scale of the bass. The idea that short scales are for beginners or not for professionals is fairly common.
Hello everyone, I'm very interested in a Cruise Gig and I've been researching about it. The point is, I'm starting to feel the "normal scale length" uncomfortable, (after 10 years of playing), and I would like to know if a short scale bass can be used for the job. Of course, I'm thinking about purchasing a decent instrument (!)

I expect he has no idea what he's talking about. He said that a "standard instrument" is required. So I 'm thinking a 5 string will work
... and it's USUALLY easy on the shoulder for those long nights on the gig.
fixed that for you! ( my Kramer short-scale weighs 12 pounds... )
