Shortscale acoustic electric help

I’m looking for a shortscale fretted A/E bass preferably between 25”-30” scale. I’m interested in any feedback from those of you that own a bass that fits in this category.

Our local shops only have 2, the Taylor mini and an Ibanez. So any information is appreciated.

This one is 30.5" though, so it might be just outside of the OP's needs. Looks beautiful though, like my dad's old '54 Gibson ES125.

As for the short end of your scale range, some of the models discussed here are 25" (some are a little shorter, but all above typical ukulele-bass scale):

TL;DR: among current - or not-long discontinued - offerings, the aforementioned Epiphone Masterbilt, the Guild B-240E, the Luna Tribal, the Spector Timbre 4 Jr., the Stagg AB203CE-SB and some* resonator basses (Ozark, the discontinued Harley Benton) are at or slightly above 30".
