Should I buy it?

My wife will be OK with it - with everything I'm dealing with on a remodel project she wants done that won't be a problem.

So what does everyone think? Should I do it?

If you want a fretless Jazz yes . I know two people who have them and they play and sound very good . One is a buddy that has played professionally for a lot of years and the other is a guitarist in my band . Both love them .

Wrong question! It’s not should I buy ____? It’s How should I buy _____? I have Apple Pay and PayPal which are slush funds i have for gig payouts and gear sales, invisable to the wife. Normally that would be the route I’d suggest. Since you mention she’s on board, use your joint account so she pays for half of it!

Does anyone EVER answer "NO" to threads like this one? I thought that one of the main reasons for Talkbass and other such enthusiast forums was to encourage fellow members to indulge in all kinds of purchases of gear.
