Should I buy Marcus Millers album "Marcus"?

I have heard many things about Marcus Miller, but I have never really sat down and listened to him. So I bought some Microsoft points and want to know if I should buy his cd "Marcus". I would really like to get into his music, as Im sure he is a great player and influence.
If you think I should please tell me as to why.

Check out some samples on Amazon and YouTube. If you like the samples, buy the album. If you don't like the samples, don't buy it. Personally, I like "Silver Rain" better than "Marcus" but whatever.

Marcus is a great album. It's classic Marcus through and through so if you don't like Marcus you are wasting your time and $$. IMHO Blast is one of the funliest tunes ever laid down on bass. I think you will like it.
