Should I buy this bass?

I have seen a Westfield Violin bass advertised for sale. It is third hand (has seen use in a Beatles tribute band, hence the "Hofner",) and in good condition, with only one small bit of damage. It is advertised at £175.00, with hard case. The seller seems very knowlegable, and trustworthy. What would you say?

just because it looks "cheap" heck, with a case, I'd say go for it.....

here's a Dillion DHB800 that I paid 100 bucks for used with a case, and it is very pretty, very tonal, and with the genuine Hofner tailpiece, a nice collectible :)
