Should I document my kit builds here?

Okay I am soliciting opinions. The new pickguard is simply laid over the old one because it is cut for a straight heel and this neck has a curved heel so I just took comparison shot straight overhead in case I decide to send it back I don't want to do any alterations to it yet.

Completely stock...

I know which one I am favoring, but I'm not going to say until I hear some opinions. Thanks in advance.

I like #2 but I agree that it clashes with the chrome.
That's exactly where I'm at with it. I wish I could find matching anodized aluminum hardware for the whole thing. It would look amazing but I think the white works better in the context of everything else.
I probably won't even return it. I'll just keep it around for inspiration for a future project.
I had the guitar player in my band to play it last night and he was very surprised at how well I did setting it up. He thought the action was low and smooth and couldn't find a buzz anywhere. I actually wanted to film him playing it so I could share it here but halfway through practice ihs amp died. My guitar was the least of things on his mind, understandably so.
