Should I get Boss GT-6 or GT-10B?

I want something to help with live tone and something fun to practice with.

Seems like the Gt-10 costs a lot more. Is the tone that much better? Thanks!

I have the GT-6B. Has a great variety in sound/tone possibilities. I never had the 10B though. It was a good way to get started with effects, since you could go well over $1000 buying each effect pedal separately. I got mine because I had no idea what I really needed for myself at first and it was the cheapest way to go. One caveat (for both I assume) is the learning curve. They are complicated to figure out at first. But if you spend the time, it can be worth it. In the end, though, it turned out to be way more than I needed. I am simply running through a basic tuner, compressor & VT-Bass pedal now.

I bought a used Line-6 M13, and am very happy with it. I haven't tried the boss multi's.

ive owned the me 50b and ive got the gt 10b now. ive owned dozens of pedals in my lifetime. this one takes the cake. i found a used one on the bay for 360 shipped, and that was a couple of months ago. its cheap considering what it has. its amazing

get the GT-10B, had mine for nearly a year now, still enjoying it and finding new features all the time.
Previous to that i had the GT-6B, the 10B is more than twice the 6B in features and sound.

You should get the one that is better. That way, you'll have the one that is better.

There are both right now in the classifieds here - both for very good prices.

I would try them out against some individual pedals. I've not found a multifx I like. Not many pros I know use them. Most players only end up using a few fx.
