I don't know what year it is, they say its working, through a vendor, I have 30 days to return it.

550$, Can probably talk them down even more.
Worth it, or?
I don't mind the tolex, the wood just looks 'weak'. Not an expert, what do you think?

Would replace my svt3pro

Do you realize that it's a made in the USA, SLM amp? Expand the first image and look above the big white label.

If it works, buy it.

The amp can be cleaned, the wood can be repaired, the case can be reskinned. It can be restored to new condition with a bit of work.

If it plays when you flip the switch and it doesn't smoke after being left on for 10 minutes I'd go $500. Those things are built like tanks. And the SVT was designed by none other than the legendary Bill Hughes. His stuff is still world class when it comes to tone. The cosmetics can all be cleaned up or restored.

If you don't have a problem with the weight, and you don't mind putting some additional cash into getting a tech to give it the once over, and (eventually) restoring it's looks, this could be a real find. You've got 30-days to change your mind.
