Should I put rotosounds on yet?

After hearing alot of good things about rotosound I decided to get me a set. Now before I ask the question I know alot of you will say yes just because of what I already have on my bass, but hear me out. I've got dean markley blue steels on and they've actually worked ok for me, actually the most comfortable strings to date for me. But they've been on a few months and I've got the new rotosounds, but I don't want to get rid of the DMs mostly because I can still get more sound out of them. I want to get my moneys worth. But should I just change em so I can experience rotosounds and not look back?

I say replace them and save your DM's for spares. Either that or you could try selling them off to recoup some money you already spent.

What do you mean by "getting rid of the DMs" ? You do realize you can put them back on if you don't like the Rotosounds, right?

Put the Rotos on and see what you think of them, and in the meantime give the DMs a good cleaning:

Oh sorry, I always keep my old strings. I've been thinking that maybe I could use the old ones for odd projects. I've been wanting to make a whamola so maybe I could do that.

I never liked the DMs at all, and why aren't the Rotos on your bass all ready?

BTW: Which Roto set are you thinking of putting on it?

I really like the 77s. They are forever once you get them on. They never seem to wear out and after a short break-in, they don't deteriorate for eons - actually: epochs.
