Should I refin my '68 jazz?

It's a unique color proudly wearing decades of history AND it was done by one of the most influential and respected luthiers in the world if the story is true. Leave it be.

The refins I've seen posted here all look great, thanks for sharing, I think I'm swaying that way with no relic, I'd love to keep the original pickguard on but tort wouldn't be my first choice, so I need to decide the colour I think looks best with it, the neck will still be untouched and it has been nicely worn down on the back so it will still feel worn in, if that makes sense!!
