I personally hate Ric's. I want to like them, but they never feel right to me and I don't get on well with the sound. Warwicks, on the other hand, I absolutely love! So what should you do? Trade your Thumb 5 for my Streamer LX!!
Seriously, though, if you're not enjoying the Thumb, I wouldn't blame you for trying something new. I would obviously suggest trying a Ric out first, but both Thumbs and Ric's aren't too difficult to find buyers/traders, so at least it should be easy to make swaps.
