Should Tal be worried....?

You've given me a great idea for a new thread:
"Who would be better at playing Metal on an SX bass-Tal or Jaco? Would they be better with a production or boutique bass?"
Eeek! Down the Rabbit-hole we all go:eek:
i'd like to know who would be better at playing metal on an sx with mukluks on their hands and balancing on a high wire. i'm always eager to follow right down the rabbit hole!

All these Tal threads would be great research material for someone looking at how men react to a "good-looking" woman who is good at something considered "male."

Then they would have to do a more extensive study about why there's a difference in the reaction to varous female bassists. :D

Worried about what? Her tax situation? Global warming? Tendonitis? The heartbreak of psoriasis?

It's music. Some people sell more records and/or tickets than others, but if you're making a living playing music that you love and people are hearing your music, you've won. That's regardless of what others are doing. Someone doesn't have to loose in order for you to win this game.
well so much ink was used to dump on tal for being easy on the eyes,it seems inevitable that some will be used to dump on this one for being less so....

Cheesy? Yes. Worthy of bashing? No. Well, maybe...

I think the original connection was the female Australian bassist - can anyone name more?

Oh and by the way - have we determined that it IS a Lakland? And do we have positive ID on her? Bio? What is she (unnamed bassist) doing nowadays?

Nah... it's just an attempt to get attention to this thread because of mentioning Tal's name. And it worked. At least for me. Otherwise I wouldn't be here posting my 2 cents.
