Show me you rockin' your Fender Precision!

I had epiphany the other day while at the Cinci GTG 2010. While I love the looks and feel of boutique basses, the tone of my Fender P with flats is sooo close to what I strive for, its scary. It plays amazingly, and feels perfect.

I plan on owning more as time goes, but for now my MIA P has my back 100%.

So, show me you rocking your P bass! I know there have been threads before, but its always fun to start something new!

Sweet guys! Brain, that shot never gets old! And Andrew, seeing pics of you and that white P show how much one can connect to a bass.

Andrew, you have anything new coming your way?

I'm in the process of getting rid of a lot of gear I don't play anymore as I prepare to spend all my money in a house in the country. And by country I mean upstate NY.:p

By the end of it I'll be down to my Fender 67, 71, and 82 57RI P-basses and my Alan Knight P-bass relic. I'm going to keep my Sage and my MIM 70s Classic (not the best sounding Jazz I've owned, but the best playing and thats including CS Fenders including the Jaco relic) but most likely not much else.

Not much new is going to enter the stable anytime soon. I might be trading my 08 American Standard P-bass for a 5 string Spector with Nordies, and I'm getting 1967 Guild Starfire II in exchange for my 5 string P-bass (won't need it if I get the spector) and my Berg cab. I also might trade my G&L L1000 for a EBMM Sub 5, but I dunno. I might just sell them all for cash.

Still trying to figure out what the hell I'm going to do with all these extra basses...:hmm: (Still need to get rid of my Ibanez P, my two FrankenFender P-basses, and my Mosrite)

If you have interest in any of them, let me know.

(Just looked at my own profile and its woefully out of date)

I also have my eye on a 1960 P-bass.

Id love to take a Franken off your hands, especially the one that has my Squier neck on it, but a las, Im broke at the moment! If cash comes, somehow, Ill let you know.

Good luck on the house, too, man!

Grand Theft Precision...$100 on Craigslist, with another $40 in mods (B/R/B pickguard and Gotoh 201 bridge).

After getting some experience modding a Squier P-bass into a PJ, I'm thinking this one may be next to go into surgery. Maybe adding a pair of Js on either side of the split?
