I'm actually a bit hesitant to mod it because I like it so much as it is, but having a JPJ with a 5-way switch is kinda intriguing. The TF mods weren't that tough, and now that I've done them once before...

When I think of all the cool sounds it would make...I dunno...at the end of the day, it's just a MIM P-bass that I'm into for $140...

I don't think it'll become my main stage bass, as I'm happy with my Lakland 55-02 for that, but on my band's recent CD, there were two songs on which I'd have dearly loved to have had a P-bass, so I fixed that for the next CD...

Love that 5'er and your idol's sonic blue P. Let me try to dig something up here....

I'm not rockin' it obviously...

Its just a regular old '92 MIM P. I've added the de riguer BAII bridge. Its got a Quarter Pounder and a black guard. I string it with hi-beams and it sounds freakin massive thru my Mesa Carbine and that HT310. (I've since sold the LMII to pay for the Mesa). I get more compliments on the sound of this bass than any of my others. Just goes to show, we bass players may love our fancy basses, but bands and audiences love a good P-bass.
