Show me your 'Burst Basses!

I did not plan this but I wound up with 3 burst basses.. actually 4 if you count the Galveston that someone gave me but it is kind of beat up at the moment.... Each one has it's own unique voice but that Lakland is the newest addition and it is great.

Ironically everything bass related in this picture that you see gear wise, was acquired through the TB classifieds with the exception of the bass on the far side of the stand, two stands on the left and right, the headphones and the cables.. from amp, to cabs, to cases, straps and that dual stand.. and you can't see the Access bag that is on the left there barely in the picture at the bottom... but that too.

That's very thoughtful of you Tbone.

The 60th has been my favorite since the day that I brought it home over two years ago. The Select is the first serious challenger to that position.

A Honeyburst P is on my short wish list. I'll go with maple and throw a black guard on it of course...

Mine was originally maple, bought used, but it developed a twist. I had to replace the neck, and I found a rw board American Special (same neck series as the Honeyburst), so I decided to make the swap. I figured that the resale value was shot once the neck was swapped anyways, and I don't plan on trading it away, as it's my favorite player. I do wish I picked up one of those burst 60th's when they were available. Oh well....

And that select looks totally different with a black pg. stealthy

My 68 came with the tugbar ...

This one is a modified Montezuma Brown 4004cii
