Nice board! What are the little raised dots you are using to mark knob positions?View attachment 1068273 AT SYSTEM 10 stomp box Wireless->MXR M80 (preamp)->MXR M87 Bass Comp->Boss Bass Chorus->MXR Phase 95->SANSAMP BDDI V2 (amp to front of house)->Radial Sb-2 (in ear monitor tone)
Nice to see the Timmy. Wonderful pedal for bass.View attachment 1068985 Well it's as compact as I have gotten in a while. And still have some room!!
Thanks I use it as a nice full overdrive when I want something more than the Vulcan.Nice to see the Timmy. Wonderful pedal for bass.
My OCD says you need white patch cables. If things got a little more cozy, I could add a fourth pedal, but I can't think of one for now... so I'll just keep on rocking with this!
I kind of want to see the rest of that bass! Looks like a PJ, are those Duncan pickups?

How are you enjoying the Pike Vulcan?View attachment 1068985 Well it's as compact as I have gotten in a while. And still have some room!!
I like it so far. You can dial in the right amount of overdrive. For me it's just a little edge. It is really flexible in setting multiple style tones. That and the Timmy are my 2 keeper pedals. How are you enjoying the Pike Vulcan?

I have been happy with the purchase because I can disengage it and get the full Mesa tone from my amp, and then stomp on it to get that extra wooly light overdrive.
I have also used it as a di for recording and it has been great for that as well.
I haven't ever heard or used a darkglass product. So I can't compare. But for what I was looking for it fit the bill. The overdrive is really adjustable with the switches and just present enough to know it's there. Can get super gritty if you want but I use it for more of a tube breakup rather than a muff or distortion.Very cool.I've read a few posts that describe it as a Darkglass VMT clone but from the clips I've heard I think it sounds quite different. Not to knock Darkglass of course.
Thank you for the review,
