Absolutely amazing work, and turned a *great* fretless bass into a fantastic, lifetime keeper. The epoxy treatment, to my ears, doesn't just bring out more "mwah" but sounds like it's "tightened up" the tone of the bass - the lows and low-mids sound more apparent, etc. One of the best decisions I've ever made in the realm of gear.

i made a fretless out of an old Ibanez, but i didn't epoxy it, i just filled the fretgrooves w/ wood glue and strung it up. I do not recomend you do this at all.

This one is a DP custom, Epoxied and the body was clear coated by Erikbojerik. Man, he's an awesome guy.
Super nice! What a difference!! What products did you use? I'd be interested to hear what products are the best for this treatment, and which don't work so well. I am seriously thinking that a fretless will be my next build.

I've strunged it with some flats now and it has made a HUGE difference in terms of sound...
still I find the neck to be too skinny for a fretless but now I'm actually enjoying the overall sound...
the only problem is that I really suck at playing it
