I own 3 guitars and 6 basses. The only instruments that are stock are these 2 basses.

Still deciding if I'm keeping the Stingray and the Tony Franklin will be getting a Hipshot vintage bridge at some point.

Bought My 'Ray in spring of 1979, and there are no mods to the bass. There is "Monk" pin stuck in the original case candy strap so long ago, it won't come out.

Bone stock Yamaha BB234 is now my main practice and gig bass.

At $300 is is an absolute bargain, as it plays and sounds amazing.

No reason to take my $1000 and up basses out, when this thing just does it all for almost peanuts.

If something happens like a cymbal headstock collision, I’m not going to the psychiatrist.

Awesome cream color also is pretty cool.

Only one mod though, Grolsh washers for the strap.

All my basses are unmodded. As I'm the manufacturer, I get to define when something is "done" - I might try a few different things during the building and tweaking phase, but nobody beside the manufacturer (me) has ever changed a part on my basses. Here's one of my basses.

I'll send something to my luthier guy to fix something that's broken, but I can't recall ever modding a working instrument.
But I did take the sticker off the Ric.
