My 62 Pbass was stripped of its original finish long ago and redone in natural ...

Oh my Lord, these are beautiful! The grain-matching is so professional; I wish you'd donate to my charity (me!). What's the inscriptions on your neck plates? Can't quite tell.
 
Here's my plain old j copy parts bass, GF pawlonia body in what they call a sunburst (I'd call is a red burst).

Going to be ordering a Fender Jazz bass FSR in natural ash with block inlays soon. Getting several grand from selling off my gun collection. And also a '72 Thinline Deluxe reissue in natural.

Not a bass, but its still got nice grain, its a Fender and I'm really proud of her.
Natalie, 1976 hard tail natural Stratocaster, all original.

Just for fun, post a photo or two of your open grained or wood stained bass (no painted or otherwise solid colored basses).

In other words, lets see that grain!
Stained is fine, so long as your bass shows the grain.
I just want to see who else is owning sexy woody basses.

Wenge fretboard

(refinished with mahogany and ebony stain; first one then the other; light poly coat on body only).
Walnut cap Buckeye Burl, Wolverine 4 string Bass.
