Holy S***! is that the Ox's HiWatt. Where did you get?
Bought the amp here in Germany from a guy who bought it in England 35 years ago. Serial number dates it to 1970/71. I got a good deal, considering the history of the amp.

You know, you might not be completely wrong with your "Ox" guess. The amp actually has the typical markings the Who road crew applied to the band's stage and PA gear:

Compare with these pics of original Who gear (courtesy of www.thewho.net):

Here's what I'm currently working with. Peavey Combo 115 and Carvin 4x10 cab. Unfortunately, I'm not pushing full power through the cab, as it's 8 ohm and my extension jack is 4 ohm. Looking to get rid of the combo and my 5 string to fund a head.

Just got back from hooking it all up tonight, as it happens. Brand new 2011 Fender Deluxe American Jazz V, through my newly-acquired Yamaha PB1 and SWR Stereo 800 (total for the pair was less than $300).

Ungodly volume through the Bergantino HT322, and about perforated my abdominal wall when plugged into my vintage 70's SVT cab. Lots of usable tones, and unbelievably loud.

I do have it for sale. Wish I could find a use for it but I have too many cabs as it is.

Man, I'd love to nab that, just strapped for cash at the moment. If it were May or June and that was for sale? I'd be all OVER IT and chipping it in with my other Sunn cabs in an upcoming restoration project. Is the grill just painted black, or was it replaced with black grill?

I couldn't tell. It looked nearly identical to the silver sunn grill cloth my 2x15 had but the inside staple job was a bit messy and overlayed after the staples too much to look stock. I sold it this afternoon.
