Prac at home this arvo.... bluetooth speaker from ph, AD200B, Bassman Pro Neo 115 and '77 Gibson G3
Studio Rig. 1964 Hofner with flats. Fender AO 60’s P-bass with low tension flats. Parts P-bass with tape wounds. Double bass is out of shot. Ampeg pf50t/ Ashdown CTM100. 4x10 cab in iso booth.

Tried a newly built cab out tonight at practice. The guys loved it better than the Faital Pro 15PR400 loaded 1x15 cab that I usually use. The guitar player described it as creamy but focused and I have to agree. It had a slight mid scoop with flat amp EQ, but with a little bit of hi-mid and the boost from my GK MB500, it opened right up. And it's the least expensive cab I've ever built!
I built it in the style of the old Tech/Schroeder angle baffle cabs around a set of MCM 55-2961 drivers. The vents are cut into the inside of the folded section of the baffle to be sneaky.
It specs in at 400W @ 8 ohms in a 55lbs package. Just need to roll on the Duratex, add the grill, locking corners, and strap handles (instead of the temporary chunky hardware store ones) and I'll have a keeper. Might need a second one for a full stack. My drummer already named it 'The Angle of Death'

The amp is a discontinued Ashdown Superfly. 250 watts per channel into my custom designed and built 110/6 cabs. I only have a 6" mid driver in the top cab as it works well with both tens, so when I only use the top cab with the mid (which is more often than not), I have to cut the highs a little bit. Killer little rig.
I had the fretless version of that bass with the 'Duncan Designed' pickups in it. The neck was a little wonky but the pickups were really meaty.
Yeah the pups are great. I did a fret dressing and leveling and cleaned up the fretboard and a complete setup on the neck and bridge. It's actually a very nice bass.
The top pic is home, the bottom pic is the current playing rig. I tried the Zoom B3N at my last show, but the Line 6 POD has a more adjustable range of sounds and settings so I'm going to go with that next time. This summer I also plan to make two 210 enclosures for the drivers in my 410 - that thing is just too heavy for me to lug around on my own...

Setting up my rig at home to test my “new to me” Greenboy F115. Going to replace the grill to match the top F112. Along with my SVTII & F212 I think I’m done with any new amps or speaker cabinets. Unless I find something that I can’t live without!!!
1965. Has a mixture of '64 and '65 components so must be one on the cusp of the new format change.
