Quick update on Rob's "Precision". He's a little off schedule but it's getting closer to being done. He's going to have demo pics soon, and I've sene the pics of the "tracer" made to use the body. It's going to be a nice looking bass, and the body looks somewhat between a P and an MB-2.

It looks like he is going to have pickup options (humbucker or a single coil), as well as possible pickguard options. He's working through what will look nice. I'm trying to decide on the pickup right now.

My bass is going to have Brazilian (!) rosewood for the neck.

Can't wait ...

- found that on the tube..... have never wanted a bass as badly as i want a rob allen right now.

Man, that Mouse sounds great!

The thought of eventually buying a Mouse has remained in the back of my mind ever since I sold my Deep 5. I certainly can't afford one at the moment, but I'd love to get one sometime in the future.

Did Rob ever decide whether or not he was going to make a 5-string Mouse? (Sorry if this has been asked/answered already, I haven't been following along closely.)

ArwinH: nice blonde!

Thanks. I was just going to post to see some new Rob Allen basses.

Wondering if anyone has gotten one in myrtle.

I've actually had this baby since november of 2005.

Got it from rob's old shop in santa barbara, and then right after he finished it, he moved to his current shop, which is about a 20 minute drive from my house.

Of course though, I'll be moving up to santa barabara in about 1 month for school.
