OK, this apparently hasn't been done around here for the last few years, so I think it's about time to...

Show us your desktop!

Take a screenshot, reduce the image size to 800 x 600, and post it here -- Let us see what you see every day when you turn on your PC!

To take a screenshot:

1) With your desktop visible on the screen, press Ctrl + PrtScn

2) Open Microsoft Paint (Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint) and paste the image.

3) Save the image as a JPEG.

4) Open the image in your favorite photo editor and reduce the image to 800 X 600.

5) Upload the image to your favorite photo hosting service.

6) Link to the image and post it in this thread!

That's all there is to it! Now, let's have some fun...

Here's mine:

That's my favorite singing group, MAX. They're Japanese, but they play Euro-style dance music with some of the funkiest bass lines you can imagine. And, they're not too hard on the eyes, either! :D

Not to nit-pick, but... the older thread of this was just around a couple of months ago: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3908251&highlight=show+your+desktop#post3908251

I would post my desktop, but usually I just keep it black, plus the fact that my desktop has over 100 icons on it, making desktops hard to see.

I did a search and the last "Post Your Desktop" thread that I could find (the same one you linked to, above) hadn't been updated since Nov 2005. That's not just a couple of months; so, I decided to start a new one.

I'm guessing even people who posted in 2005 have probably updated their desktops since then, so I thought the new thread was justified.

Now, back to the desktops! :)

not that care either way, but the last post in that thread is from 3/4/07.
