My wife and I have nine dogs. Here I am with my number one boy, Santana. My wife got him for me for Valentine's Day a few years back, from a breeder who was raising German Shepherds. His mother was a purebred German Shepherd, but his daddy was a rogue male, who was part White Shepherd, part Australian Shepherd, and part Wolf.

I don't think my boy, Santana has enough Wolf in him to be considered a hybrid. He mostly seems like a dog, but he is near impossible to keep in a pen, or fenced area, and you can't chain him out on a cable. He is an escape artist of the highest caliber, and has jumped a six foot fence from a standing position.

He is sweeter than sweet, and has a very gentle and charming personality, however on the rare occasion when bigger dogs have challenged him, he has triumphed without fail. He's around eighty pounds.

So why not post photos of your dogs? I have eight more, and I might drop one or two of them on here if the thread is successful.

The wife and I are down to one these days... we are looking at breed rescue groups for Cane Corsos and Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Here is Angus a couple weeks ago helping me work on our house.

He's an 11 year old pure bred Catahoula. We got him at 8 weeks from a breeder in Mississippi.

Love my dog...

I've always loved the look of white shepherds, I think it's a shame that they're considered a defect of the breed. German Shepherds have been the easiest dogs I've ever had to train and a pleasure as a companion. I've got a huge soft spot for labs though.

he passed away a few weeks ago, I never owned a dog my whole life but we got him 11 yrs ago when he was just a pup and turned out to be my best friend all these years.

Thinking about getting another next year, waiting till all the holidays, NAMM, etc are over and can concentrate on another, they really do make your life complete :)

I got a few huskies.
Here's Tanner:
