SHOW YOUR 6'S

This is my first 6-string bass. Its being delivered via UPS 2nd Day Air. It should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. Here's a temp pic until I can take original ones.

Here's a couple vids of it- they're mostly improvised, so please forgive the "looseness" of them (aka the suck factor :D)

Incredible bass Bryan! Love the fretboard!

I checked out the song "Push", you're getting some sweet sounding tones from your bass.

I've always wondered what the extended top of the bass body was all about. Does it help with sustain? Balance of the bass? or both? It looks much more comfortable to play in your video than I imagined.

It can theoretically help with sustain because of the extra neck-to-body joining, but I honestly haven't noticed any difference- I just like the way they look, and I've grown to really like the way they sit against my body. The builder needs to know what he's doing though- all that body attached to just one side of the neck could cause issues when adjusting relief if the builder isn't experienced in making them.
