that is very classy!

Thanks!

Unfortunately, those Aguilar cabs did not do it for me. I do lots of syncopated finger funk, and it did not cut through the mix, even with much EQ tweaking and channel switching on the AG500. I have read good things about the Epifani UL-112s being lighter as well as having a more robust midrange, so by next gig, I'll have to snap a new pic!

I used to gig with a pair of GS112's as well. I sold one, held onto one... and went back to using a 410 (got a Epi T-410). When I got rid of the remaining GS112, I got a UL112 from Epifani... I LOVE IT. Very articulate and I also do the low mid finger funk thing that needs to be able to cut through 2-5 pieces of a horn section... try it and let me know.

j-raj I was just checking out your site and saw that you have a '94 Jazz bass. How are you liking it?
BG,
That bass has seen many changes, from having the Kubicki pre and Lace sensors, to MM's and OBP-1... to Nordstrand split J's and OBP-1 to being converted to passive (soon to receive). It's in my will that I'll be buried w/ it... so, if that answers your question, I love that bass! :smug:
