Our first gig with new singer.

Ok, this is cheating because it is just me looking stunned. The rest of the band is not shown by request.
The reason I posted this is because it is a good shot of my setup for a small gig, in this case a Legion. I put the iAMP500C and the gig knapsack (to the far right) on the cart shown folded up to the left of the amp. Bass goes into a gig bag that I put on my back. One trip in, one trip out.
This is one of the very rare gigs (3 so far) where the band leader provides the words and chords to the songs. Also note the flag in the headstock! This is also the first set since we where given Canada Day buttons and I put mine on my shirt.
And, yes, the ubiquitous beer bottle.
You can tell I am not a real bass player because I am not looking at my fretboard
Another difference here is the chair. This Legion used to always have a couple of the hard, leather covered metal frame chairs around. I always snagged one of those. I feel that the padded chair seemed to absorb some of the sound.

Me and my band playing a Canada Day gig on Saturday night..... The mohawk was done for a joke as I am an executive by day and thought it would be funny. It is now gone....
This is my band Crooked Foot. We did a benefit for the cancer center for kids. We do it every year and have a great time and its for a great cause.
Cool......Old I is a fun place...........I've been playing music in Sac for 13 years so I've played there way to many times. Is your band still playing out?? I'll try and check it sometime...........
My band Flounder is at Old I on August 9th with The Rubberneckers from outta town..........come check it.
We had a local artist draw us while we played.........we didn't ask him, nor did we even know he was doing it..........kinda cool
I'm at about 1/2 and 1/2 with my upright lately..........
