Not quite sure about the can of worms reference... (is it the 70's font style?) but the only thing I don't care for about that lovely headstock is the ratty truss-rod entrance hole. Otherwise - love it!
How do you all go about making your headstock decal? I'm going to be having a one-off neck made and want to make one for it.
I got the ones for both of my Jaguar SS mods from Rothko and Frost in the U.K. They look better in reality than the picture does. Luthier said they were the best decals he's ever worked with and will suggest them to other clients.
Thank you. They cut off my headstock there because the logo is a fender-ish version of theirs.

Good to know and thanks for the info - I've had a very hard time finding someone who can make a decent decal and next time will check them out.
I used some printer friendly transparency from Office Depot, inkjet printer, then lightly spayed rattle-can lacquer to "lock in" the logo, let dry, then sprayed the headstock with the clear lacquer, set the logo (watch for bubbles), let dry, then multiple coats (enough to sand the ridges down), final coat.
