Those are all drool-worthy. I'd rock any given the opportunity, but I'd love to play the Abuelo. Sorry if I misspelled the name. Just gorgeous, everyone.
I have a Cabronita that has the single Thundertron in the P position. It's a unique tone for sure. There was that Atomic P Bass from the custom shop that had a single Bi-Sonic pickup. I'd love to play that too, but probably will never get that chance.

The Darkstar/BiSonic single have become my faves - I have built a number of basses using then as 1 & 2 pu versions. The thing to be aware of is the more affordable Guild is for narrow spacing. The more expensive Novaks can be had in either narrow or Fender spacing. I've not A/B'd them but they both sound really good.
Here's one of my custom builds using an Epi T-bird neck on a '60s Decca body with a single Guild DS/BS pu and relic'd/distressed Pelham blue nitro finish.

Thanks! The control plate was the one on it originally and the pick-guard is a perimeter/outline copy of the one it came with which had opening for two pu's. Knobs are '60s Teisco knobs - body is thin mahogany ply as a number of these guitars/basses were.

The bass weighs 8lbs/6oz - a very manageable weight in my book. Ply can be heavy but the body is 1-1/4" thick which I have made my own basses. Fender basses are as thick as 1-3/4" which is 1/2" more wood. My '66 J body is 1.5", and it feels nicer.
A very nice tb member gifted me some '60s Japanese bass parts including this awesome bridge cover - I haven't drilled screw-holes yet but it's a perfect fit on this bass so I probably will go ahead and do so. This bass is for sale on Reverb and for a reasonable price. I'll be updating pics now that I have this cool bridge cover! It sounds really good - I wouldn't sell a bass if it didn't meet my own standards for rocking' out!

Yes, that is super awesome. One of these days I'm going to use pics of a bass like that (or even that bass specifically) to do an extreme relic-job. It's funny - when I bought my very player road-worn '66 P, I got it for a very good price because it wasn't "nice". Many lookers walked right by it, or they may have looked at the price tag and thought - "...that price for that beat-up bass?" which is to our advantage as those who 'get it'. When I first saw it I was immediately drawn to it. I looked at the price tag which for me was a little high, and I thought it would probably need a fret job that would add on another $500. So I asked to plug it in and was plugged into a vintage Fender Twin. As soon as I played it I started getting tingly. Frets were professionally replaced in the cash register and seamlessly so. The action/feel was perfect. It was light (8lbs/6oz) and it sounded amazing, even through a guitar amp. My mind went into overdrive on how I could justify buying it. I went home and couldn't stop thinking about it. I didn't own a P-bass, never have owned one. A week later I went back and it was still there (see what I'm talking about?) and offered a lower price. A call was made (it was on commission) and they agreed. It came with a brand new Fender HSC and I walked out of there beaming. Later I got a '66 Fender HSC for $100 (!) on eBay and replaced the non-original bridge with a 1960 Fender bent-plate/threaded saddle bridge for another $150. (seen them go for 3X's that) Well worth every penny spent - it defines what a P-bass should sound like, its battered & scared wood filled like a sponge with years of being actively played. It's the only P-bass I own and I have no GAS for another.
