My favorite two! The one on the left it my 1988 NYC Sadowsky and the one on the right it my 2009 NYC Sadowsky Fretless. Out of all the Jazz basses I've own (which has been allot), definitely my favorite two!

They are BEAUTIES!!

My best guess is that because it was a prototype, the bridge may have been a bit off, and Herbies tech moved it closer to keep the saddles closer to the "middle of their travel" when intonated.
