This is my 89 Peavey DynaBass as I was restoring it. The first bass I ever bought was a black DynaBass in 1991. It got stolen in 2000. I had pined for another for a long while, and found “Red” for sale on The TalkBass forum in 2008ish. I LOVE that beast!!!

Here it is when I finished.

Jason, how does the Schecter JC model sound & play?

Absoulutely love it!
Inheritatly it has alot of mids and growls due to the guitar pickup
I have the setting with the blend slightly more to the bridge and treble slightly boosted and bass slightly cut
To get a very aggressive tone that is heard through any mix!
The neck is satin and feels great and is very fast, while it is quite small It is my favorite of every bass

96 50th Anniversary Precision. Even has tiny gold flecks in the finish. Only gold HW bass I have, but, man, does it work on this one.

Man, that is the 4004 I am on the lookout for. I really like the look of neck pickup set back instead of all the way up at the neck. What year?

I'm doing a (Natural) Jazz Bass with all gold hardware as soon as I get all the parts; bridge, tuners, string tree, pickguard screws, strap looks (and new neck). I know exactly how I want MY Bass to look, but I wanna see what other Basses look like with all gold hardware; so, Show your Gold

Not mine, but Anthony Jackson's career girl jazz bass is a real looker.

If I ever build a project bass, I would draw much inspiration from this.
