Who cares about the basses. I want to know who this smokin' babe is playing the Morch bass!

Well.... you can tell she's european.... a closer inspection reveals some pretty gnarly armpit hair!

with my old Morch on the for sale block, and all of the owners coming out to talk about it, I've been reminiscing about these fine instruments. Bumping this thread...any others out in the wild. Any out there with a 32" scale?

Old thread but...here goes my new to me used Morch

Traded for this Morch Curl 6 string. 36” scale. I haven’t found any serial number but was told it was made about 2002-2004. How it got to the USA I have no idea but loving the bass. It has 16.5-17mm string spacing so having to adjust to that from a bit wider 4 and 5 strings but I think I can do it a bit better each day. Surprised that I didnt have hardly any adjustments to the 36” scale length from playing 34” scale basses. Just had it a week. But the slightly narrower string spacing is gonna take a while longer. Haaa. Great instruments.

Was shipped to me in the US after I became aware of Morch while working in a handmade bass importer. We got some Morch basses in the shop and they immediately became my favorite so I snagged that one when I saw it listed for sale. Enjoy it. That was my work horse for about a decade.

I have a set of Mørch pickups I bought out of the TB classifieds years ago. Split coils in Bart P2 shells. I used one in the “sweet spot” of a Frankensquier for awhile.

lol...been a while since I've been on talkbass (been killing time on the web mostly on beeradvocate these days and running around with my baby daughter - 12 weeks old).

I used to own that fretless 5'er and your 6 string. Both are great instruments!!! aside from becoming a CT convert, I still have one non-CT bass, my Morch 6'er.

also, that 5 string fretless was a wedding gift from my wife. she was cool with me parting with it to get my first CT. enjoy those basses, they are tone monsters!!!

That bass was so versatile. What is your fav way to play it? I used to love the passive single coil tone, w both pickups blended, but also loved the bridge pickup soloed active single coil.
