Ha ha! They love getting on top of the cushions don't they? Mine do that we well.
Odie looks like a cousin, and likes to perch on top of the cushions as well!

That was my first experience with IGs back in the 80s. A friend's son adopted one, only to find out he couldn't have a dog in his college dorm.
So, dad got it.I loved watching that sleek little dude work the back of all the furniture in the house. Loved being up. So that behavior came as no surprise.
What was surprising is how much Peanut learned to climb up to places Ollie could just jump up to!
You guys have such prim and proper dogs that perch on cushions and gently tap your arm when they want attention.
Our guy is a bull in a China shop, clumsy, and tends toward the rude side of things (moaning/mumbling under his breath when he doesn’t get his way). I’d like to think it is nature, but fear that nurture had something to do with it.

Thank you! Me too. Can’t believe he’s still capable and content. Cash is his name. Still jumps up on the couch. Sprog the energetic youngster is 2.7 years.

I haven't owned one yet but my in-laws have one and she is the sweetest dog. Sits up on her haunches and lifts up one paw and places it on your leg. She'll also go out and watch from the deck when our two Italian greys go out in the back yard to watch over them as there are coyotes in the area. Super cool dog.

This is great! We have two pups now but a healer would be cool when the time comes. I'll speak with my better half and maybe this can be a next dog - although my wife is really hankering for another greyhound. We'll see!
