I've had a lot Pits in my house and that pic says it all, most are just so super sweet.
Very occasionally you'll get a fighter (maybe one out of 30 or 40) but it seems ALL of them love people...they make lousy watchdogs IMO.
That's...kinda what happened when my wife and I adopted our poopies. They were lying on each other, kinda separate from the rest of the dogs the rescue had brought for adoption. We decided we couldn't separate them so we adopted them both.
I think pits get a bad rap. Every one that I’ve seen raised as a “family dog” are really nice pups.

This was Monday so I know it was Bachelorette and takeout for her and my grand dog. I usually watch with her and we text throughout. FYI if I’m busy and can’t watch I’ll just text “she’s so stupid” or “what is he talking about?” Seems like something I’d say.

I love this dog. It’s amazing how fast we connected.
I never owned a dog before, I’m in my early 40s.
I had a parrot when I was a teen, for 15 years. After he died, I lost the will to have another pet. But adopting Mogi was one of the best things I did.
