He's made a full recovery, just a few scars and some fur to grow back. He's back to being his goofy self.

He's starting the campaign to go on the afternoon walk in the woods.
That's one thing I don't miss from living in Scottsdale...the diamondbacks (snakes, not baseball). Summers were so hot, I had to get up really early and wait for just enough daylight to see the coyotes, javelinas and diamondbacks before heading out for a walk with my dogs. Overnight temps in the summer were still in the 90s.

So the whole family trekked up north to Wisconsin this past week. Spent the time in a cabin by the lake. Me and MrsPacman love to kayak, and have done so all over the world. The dogs, however, have not. The first two here are of Phoebe, our afraid-of-everything Pittie. It terrified her getting into the boat, but as soon as we were out on the water, she relaxed into the calmest I've maybe ever seen her (she even took a nap on me while I paddled). Which was huge.

But the last one is of Freddy, who hates (I mean HATES) water. But apparently FOMO got the better of him and he got into a grounded kayak BY HIMSELF and asked to go out on the water. And like his sister, was calm and happy out on the water. Wonders never cease!View attachment 5177104 View attachment 5177105 View attachment 5177106
