You sure are...!!!

My previous shelter dog passed at 15 in Oct 2022. After 6 months of things being too quiet I began weekend trips to the shelters. After a few almost adoptions I took a break and finally went to another shelter only to see a listed dog - Not to adopt one..
My gf who was on the other side of the kennel called me over - this dog shared the same name as her cat! Halo. After a quick walk around the grounds I (or the K9) told the team to wrap her up, I'll take her.
She looks small in the photos but is about 25 lbs soaking wet..

Patti's New Year's Day breakfast. One egg sliced, with kibble on top (fireworks!). And apple pieces with peanut butter on top.

Congrats! It can be difficult to recover from losing a best friend. I'm glad you were able to take the plunge again. And thanks for being an adopter. I've got three rescues, myself.

I love how the rear legs stretch out. Can only be done by certain breeds, probably evolved so dogs are able to go into rabbit holes and burrows.
