By the way, for anyone else with an arthritic codger (dog that is, thought that probably applies to some of us too) there's a newly U.S. approved monthly injection for pain called Librela. Apparently successful in Europe for some time and safe. Adequan injections have already been a game changer for this ten year old fella, but now he seems a lot perkier a few weeks after his doc recommended and gave him his first librela shot. Hoping to get a few more happy and healthy years in.

I can't remember if I've asked before, anyway, I'm just wondering why you leave her harness on when she's in the house (which is almost all of the time). I remove them from my three in the elevator on the way up to the apartment. They paw at the door and then go full-speed in 3 different directions when I open it, so I like to remove them before entry.
We typically leave it on becuase Patti has a thick, long (for her size) neck with a lot of scruff on the back. So getting the harness off several times a day can be unpleasant for her, no matter how careful we are. And on sunny days, she often wants to make a couple of extra trips outside to soak up the rays.
That said, a couple of the newest harnesses from Wild One have a release clasp at the neck, so we're starting to take those off of her regularly.
