Don't know if I've posted any of these before. Some pics of our rescued Kelpie at a couple of his favorite establishments and beating me at chess ...
...and one of him today at the entrance to a local firehouse where we found shelter while a downpour went through on today's 4.5 mile "walkabout."....
......and one of his big little brother, a 130lb Bernese we rescued two years ago as a 30lb 12 week old pup...
Just for scale, that cask holds a full liter of brandy.....

One handsome boy !! The sheen off that coat of his....!!!
He's 3, and we've never had to give him a bath.
Coat's so waxy that it just sheds dirt.(of course, because I said that he's definitely gonna get sprayed by a skunk in the near future.)
