Friday was Patti's second "rescue-versary." She's such a great pup, so sweet and loving--but also smart, it's funny how much she picks up on. Granted, I wasn't too happy with her earlier in the week after I twice had to pull random dead-squirrel parts out of her mouth (some other animal pulled pieces of it from the edge of the neighbors' yard to the middle of ours in between the two incidents). But she can't help it, and this sort of thing doesn't happen much.

The dog is probably more qualified to teach those kids trombone than whomever their current band director is...woof.
She's got toys and comfy places to lay too, but her favorite spoils are going out into the world with us. She's a great bar and shops dog, but a hike in the woods? Yes please!
